Simple Things / Alexei Popogrebsky | Sergei Maslov, an anesthesiologist in a St. Petersburg hospital, never took life too seriously. But now life takes a serious turn on him, as he gets into problems with his girlfriend, his daughter runs away from home and his wife declares she is pregnant. To add to this, Zhuravlev, Sergei’s private patient, once a famous actor and now forgotten, makes him an offer Sergei should better refuse. Or better not? Too many choices for a man for whom it’s best not to think.
