“This film was inspired by Andy Warhol’s 1965 8-hour underground classic Empire, Dante Alghieri’s 100-canto epic poem The Divine Comedy,Walter Ruttman’s 1927 stunning masterwork Berlin: Symphony of a City and Michelangelo’s 10-meter Renaissance masterpiece David. In memory of Ingmar Bergman and Michelangelo Antonioni.”
