Biography
He was born in 1977, in Melbourne, Australia. He graduated frοm NIDA and has performed lead roles in film, television and on stage. His theater credits include The White Devil, Volpone, Boy Gets Girl, The History Boys and Rock ‘n’ Roll. His television credits include Stupid Stupid Man, All Saints and Changi, and his films as actor include Looking for Alibrandi (2000), My Mother Frank (2000), The Bet (2006) and Bitter and Twisted (2008).

Three Blind Mice / Matthew Newton |  With one night left before being shipped off to Iraq, three Navy officers on shore-leave hit the streets of Sydney to celebrate. The dynamic between the three friends is uneasy, and tinged with malice. Sam has more than one reason to be looking for a way out, Dean is anxious to reconnect with his girlfriend and is burdened by some kind of guilt, and Harry is full of attitude and bent on a night of excess.The focus shifts fromhow they run, to why they run, when the uncomfortable secret that simultaneously binds and divides them is finally revealed.
