The Edge / Geraldine Bajard

François, a newly qualified doctor, leaves Paris to live in Beauval, a new town where the brand new houses are all lined up in boring rows. François soon becomes the target of a gang of teenagers, led by Cédric and Matthieu, who counter their boredom with dangerous games. Challenges, provocation, seduction, anything will do to break the routine... Until the body of twelve-year-old Agnès is found on the roadside, hit by a reckless driver. In an effort to avoid their share of responsibility, Cédric and Matthieu embark on a hunt for the guilty party, tightening the net around François whom they consider a suspect. The apparent tranquility of the little town soon gives way to an oppressive atmosphere of suspicion and manipulation.
