Eva Doesn’t Sleep / Pablo Agüero

1952, Eva Perón just died. She is the most beloved, but also hated political figure in Argentina. An expert is in charge of her embalming. After years of hard work, he achieves remarkable results. Meanwhile, in Argentina, one military coup follows the other and certain dictators want to erase Evita’s legacy from the people’s memory. Her body becomes the cause of clashes that last 25 years. This “sleeping beauty” became a more powerful figure than any other living politician of that time.
