Four friends who have just graduated from high school discover, in the course of a magical but also terrible summer, not only love, but treason, infidelity, half truths and all that is unfathomable and horrendous in the world of adults. Miguelito, who hopes to become a poet, sees his dreams vanish when he loses the one he thinks is the love of his life, the beautiful and capricious Luli; Babirusa finds out his mother’s shameful secret which opens his eyes to a horrifying truth; and Paco watches his family’s fortune melt away and at the same time discovers his father’s true character.
