Eventually relieved to be rid of Ugur, Bakir gats married and slowly turns his life around. A few months later, when Zagor receives a long prison sentence for his involvement in the killing of two policemen, Bakir is hopeful that his rival’s imprisonment will open up a possibility for him with Ugur.
