Biography He was born in Patras and studied Law and Film Direction in Athens where he lives and works. In 1999, while still a student, he made his first short film, Life Is Short, which screened at the Short Film Festival in Drama where it received a Special Mention by the Jury and a Hellenic National Award. His second short film, The Hawker, screened at numerous international festivals in Greece and abroad and won important distinctions and awards. Next came After 11 p.m. and Red Sky in 2002 and 2003 respectively. After 11 p.m. won a Hellenic National Award and Red Sky won the 2nd Prize for Best Fiction Film and the Award for Best Editing at the Short Film Festival in Drama, the ΜΕDIA Award at the Tirana IFF and a Hellenic National Award. His fifth short film, Lulu’s Snails, was produced in 2005.
